China Plastics Machinery Industry Association was established in May 1993. It is a national industry organization with legal personality approved by the the People's Republic of China Ministry of Civil Affairs.

It is one of the important parts of China's machinery industry and one of the fastest growing industries in the national machinery industry in recent years. China Plastics Machinery Industry Association adheres to the purpose of serving members, serving the industry, serving the society and serving the government, taking scientific development and creating harmony as the goal, and taking the revitalization of China's plastics machinery industry as its own responsibility. The main functions and tasks of China Plastics Machinery Industry Association are:
To reflect the opinions and requirements of enterprises to the government, and to provide suggestions and consulting services for government decision-making;
Participate in the preparation of industry development plans and serve the government in formulating industrial policies and industry restructuring;
Analyze and publish technical and economic information of the industry, and provide information services for the government, members and enterprises;
